Myanmar Marketing Committee (MMC) an arm of the
Myanmar Tourism Promotion Board ( MTPB ). As an
exclusive member of MMC, we have been appointed
the ground handling operator to manage these
trips. This is a golden opportunity for you to
take part and inspect our fascinating country
and its tourism-related infrastructures. You
will have a chance to exchange comments and
experiences, meet up with hoteliers and tour
operators and to establish contacts for your

DAY 1: ARRIVAL YANGON
Arrive Yangon in the afternoon. You’ll be met
and assisted at the airport then transferred to
your hotel where you’ll experience a “welcome
briefing” presented by a representative of the
Myanmar Tourism Promotion Board. An afternoon
tour commences with a visit to the old colonial
part of downtown Yangon, inspection of hotels
and a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the
wonders of the world with its amazing mix of
pavilions, stupas, Buddha images and bells.
Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 2: YANGON - BAGAN
Breakfast at your hotel and check out for your
flight to Bagan in the early morning.
After arrival in Bagan you’ll transfer to your
hotel for check-in. Start your morning
sightseeing tour with a stroll through busy
Nyaung oo Market and visit a diverse selection
of pagodas and temples such as Shwezigon Pagoda,
built by King Anawratha in the early 11th
Century and Ananda Temple with its four huge
standing Buddha images and numerous seated
figures arranged around the interior Gallery.
Inspection of local hotels will also be
arranged. In the afternoon, sightseeing
continues with visit to lacquer ware workshops
in nearby Myingabar village. Stroll around
Myingabar Village to observe the lifestyle of
the locals and visit the Myingaba Gu Byauk Gyi
Temple, famous for its ancient mural paintings.
Enjoy the panoramic view of Bagan and a
beautiful sunset in the evening.

DAY 3: BAGAN - MANDALAY
Breakfast at your hotel then check out for your
flight to Mandalay in the early morning.
Arrive Mandalay and proceed to Amarapura where
we visit the famous Mahagandayon Monastery and
the picturesque U Bein Wooden Bridge on
Taungthaman Lake. Check-in at our hotel. In the
afternoon we conduct inspections of local
hotels, visit the colorful Zeygyo market and
stroll around the area to witness the lifestyle
of the local people. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 4: MANDALAY
Breakfast at your hotel. Our full day city tour
in Mandalay starts with a visit to the Mahamuni
Pagoda; revered as one of the holiest pagodas in
Myanmar, see the gold leaf making workshop,
embroidery works and marble carving street,
where thousands of Buddha images are made.
Highlights of the day also include a visit to
the beautiful teak monastery of Shwe Kyaung
(Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw Pagoda with
its 729 marble slabs of Buddhist Scriptures and
in the evening enjoy the magnificent sunset and
view of the surrounding countryside from atop
the Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 5: MANDALAY - HEHO -
INLE LAKE
Breakfast at your hotel then we check out for
our flight to Heho in the morning.
Arrive Heho and transfer to Nyaung Shwe. Proceed
to Inle and enjoy sightseeing by boat in the
vast and picturesque Inle Lake. Observe the
unique one-legged rowing technique of the
boatmen and the traditional methods of fishing.
Visit the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery with a
collection of ancient Buddha images; Phaung Daw
Oo Pagoda; and the local weaving industries in
Inn Paw Khone Village. Afternoon hotel

Overnight at Inle Lake.
DAY 6: INLE LAKE
Breakfast at your hotel. A full day exploring
Inle Lake includes the floating gardens; the Nga
Phe Chaung monastery; the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda;
the local weaving industries and a fascinating
trip to Indein.
Overnight at Inle Lake.
DAY 7: INLE LAKE - HEHO -
YANGON
Breakfast at your hotel. Then transfer to Nyaung
Shwe and proceed to Heho for your flight to
Yangon.
After arriving at Yangon we enjoy lunch at
either the Padonmar or Signature Restaurant.
Then we go shopping at the sprawling Bogyoke
Aung San (Scotts) market where gems &
jewelleries, lacquerware, woodcarvings,
silverware, paintings and other handicrafts are
easily found. Debriefing at the hotel to
exchange comments and experiences, meet up with
hoteliers and tour operator in town and
establish new contacts for future business.
Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE YANGON
Morning at leisure until time for your transfer
to Yangon airport for your flight to Bangkok,
Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.

GENERAL
1. Organization & Administration
MMC office may update or alter the
booking status from time to time regarding
the departure dates
MMC office is responsible for
organization the International and domestic
air ticketing and hotel reservations.
All reservations will be made with a
minimum advance notice of one week (with
complete details).
A representative from the Myanmar
Marketing Committee (MMC) will meet and
greet guests upon check in at the first
hotel in Yangon for a briefing and
collection of any payments due.
2. Hotel Inspections
An inspection schedule will be provided by
the MMC office to all hotels participating
in the FAM Program at least three (3)
working days in advance to all respective
Sales & Marketing Departments.
The exact hotel appointment time is to be
coordinated between the assigned tour guide
and hotels’ receptions. The reception staff
will further coordinate these meetings with
any other assigned sales staff.
The Inspection time allocated per hotel will
last a maximum of 20 minutes. Due to tight
scheduling and to save time, the hotels are
requested only to show the most commonly
sold room category and vital public areas.
3. Debriefings
There will be informal
debriefings on the 2nd last day of every FAM
Trip to be hosted by the 2nd stay hotel in
Yangon.
The debriefings will
only be scheduled with a minimum of 5 FAM
participants and will be facilitated by the
MMC Executive Committee.
All MMC members are
invited to the debriefings where the members
are able to distribute their promotional
material and make contacts with the FAM
participants..
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Group Size
FAM Fixed Departure Dates will only be
materialized with a minimum of 2 to a
maximum of 15 participants in each group and
a “throughout” guide will be provided for
every group.
Eligibility
ONLY ACCREDITED Tour Operators, Travel
Writers or Travel Photographers from within
the travel industry are eligible to
participate in these fixed departure FAM
Trips.
For International Airlines, only the Sales &
Marketing Staff are permitted to
participate.
Restrictions
Maximum two travel professionals per
company are allowed to participate.
Only one companion for each travel
professional is permitted to participate in
these FAM Trips
Children are not allowed to join the
trips as a companion.
