Marketing Committee (MMC) which is the arm of
Myanmar Tourism Promotion Board ( MTPB ). As

DAY 1 (FRI) ARRIVAL YANGON
Arrive Yangon with different flights in the
afternoon. Meet and assist at the airport and
transfer to hotel. Welcoming briefing at the
hotel by representative of Myanmar Tourism
Promotion Board. An Afternoon tour commence with
a visit to old colonial part of downtown,
inspection of hotels and a visit to Shwedagon
Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world with its
amazing mix of pavilions, stupas, images and
bells. Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 2 (SAT) YANGON - BAGAN
Breakfast at hotel and check out for departure
flight to Bagan in the early morning.
Transferring to the hotel for a check-in. Start
your morning sightseeing tour with a stroll
through busy Nyaung oo Market and visit to a
diverse selection of pagodas and temples such as
Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawratha in the
early 11th Century and Ananda Temple with four
huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated
figures arranged around the interior Gallery.
Inspection of Hotels. In the afternoon,
sightseeing continues with visit to a lacquer
ware workshops nearby Myingabar village. Stroll
around Myingabar Village to observe the life
style of locals and visit to Myingaba Gu Byauk
Gyi Temple, famous for its ancient mural
paintings. Enjoy the panoramic view of Bagan and
beautiful sunset in the evening. Overnight in
Bagan.
DAY 3 (SUN) BAGAN -
MANDALAY
Breakfast at hotel and check out for departure
flight to Mandalay in the early morning. Arrive
Mandalay and proceed to Amarapura and visit the
famous Mahagandayon Monastery and Picturesque U
Bein Wooden Bridge on Taungthaman Lake. Check-in
at hotel. Afternoon inspections of hotels. Visit
to colorful Zeygyo market and stroll around in
the area to witness lifestyle of the local
people. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 4 (MON) MANDALAY
Breakfast at hotel. Full day city tour in
Mandalay starts with a visit to the Mahamuni
Pagoda; revered as one of the holiest pagodas in
Myanmar, see the gold leaf making workshop,
embroidery works and marble carving street,
where thousands of Buddha images are made.
Highlights of the day also include a visit to
beautiful teak monastery of Shwe Kyaung (Golden
Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw Pagodawith its 729
marble slabs of Buddhist Scriptures and in the
evening enjoy the magnificent view of the sunset
and the surrounding countryside from atop the
Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 5 (TUE) MANDALAY -
HEHO - INLE LAKE
Breakfast at the hotel and check out for
departure flight to Heho in the morning. Arrive
Heho and transfer to Nyaung Shwe. Proceed to
Inle and enjoy the sightseeing by boat in the
vast and picturesque lake Inle. Observe the
unique one-legged rowing technique and
traditional methods of fishing. Hotel
Inspections. Overnight in Inle Lake.
DAY 6 (WED) INLE LAKE
Breakfast at hotel. A full day exploration of
Inle Lake includes the floating gardens; the Nga
Phe Chaung monastery; the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda;
the local weaving industries and the fascinating
trip to Indein. Overnight in Inle Lake.
DAY 7 (THU) INLE LAKE -
HEHO - YANGON
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Nyaung Shwe and
proceed to Heho for departure flight to Yangon.
Arrive Yangon. Lunch at Padonmar or Signature
Restaurant. Shopping at the sprawling Bogyoke
Aung San market where gems & jewelleries,
lacquerware, woodcarvings, silverware, paintings
and other handicrafts are available. Debriefing
at the hotel to exchange comments and
experiences, meet up with hoteliers and tour
operator in town and to establish contacts for
future business. Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 8 (FRI) DEPARTURE
YANGON
Morning at Leisure till transfer to Yangon
airport for departure flight to Bangkok,

GENERAL
1. Organization & Administration
MMC office will update the booking status from time to time for the actual
materialization of the departure dates
MMC office is responsible for organization of International and domestic air
ticketing, pre arranged visa on arrival, and hotel reservations. All
reservations will be made minimum a week in advance with details.
Representative from Myanmar Marketing Committee will meet and greet the guests
upon check in at the 1st call hotels in Yangon for briefing and collection of
Payment.
2. Hotel Inspections
Inspection schedule
will be provided by MMC office to all hotels
participated in the FAM Program at least 3
working days in advance to respective Sales
& Marketing Departments.
Exact time arriving to
the hotels to be coordinated between the
assigned tour guide and hotels’ receptions,
which the reception to further coordinate
with assigned sales staff.
Inspection time
allocated per hotel is maximum 20 minutes.
The hotels are requested only to show the
most commonly sold room category and vital
public areas of the hotel in order to save
time due to tight schedule.
3. Debriefings
There will be informal
debriefings on the 2nd last day of every FAM
Trips to be hosted by 2nd call hotels in
Yangon.
The debriefings will
only be scheduled with minimum 5 FAM
participants and to be facilitated by MMC
Executive Committee.
All MMC members are
invited to the debriefings where the members
are able to distribute their promotional
collaterals and make contacts with FAM
Participants.

Dates will only be materialized with minimum
of 2 to maximum of 15 participants in each
group and only throughout guide will be
provided for every group.
Eligibility
Tour Operators, Travel
writers, Travel Photographers of the
industry are only eligible to participate in
these fixed departure FAM Trips.
For International
Airlines, only Sales & Marketing Staff are
permitted to participate.
Restrictions
Maximum two travel professionals per company would be allowed to participate.
Only one companion for each travel professional is permitted to participate in
these Fam Trips
Children are not allowed to join the trips as a companion.
