Program
Day 01: Yangon
(D)
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport,
welcome by our local tour guide with bouquet
flowers and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Afternoon Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda - the six storied
in meaning but actually the huge reclining
Buddha Image, Karaweik Hall - the Royal floating
barge on the Royal Lake for a photo stop.
Evening visit to the massive Shwedagon Pagoda -
famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the
‘Heart’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is
believed to be 2,500 years old and the central
stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately
decorated buildings and statues. There are
always many Myanmar People praying and making
offerings at Shwedagon, and it’s a fascinating
place to spend time watching the world go by.
Romantic Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Yangon
Breakfast at hotel. Offer lunch to monks as
Myanmar traditional wedding reception. Evening
enjoy sunset cruise along the Yangon River with
free flow cocktail party.
Day 03: Yangon
Bagan (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for
the flight to Bagan - over 2000 temples and
pagodas of various sizes in varying states of
repair and spread across the plain. Shwezigon
Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early
11th century as a religious shrine; Gubyaukgyi,
a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scene
and Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha
images and numerous seated figures and niches
around the galleried interior. In the afternoon
visit lacquer ware home industry, Manuha Temple
built in Mon style from 1059 and Nanphaya
Temple, said to have once been the residence of
King Manuha; Gu Byauk Gyi Temple (Wet Kyi Inn),
which has very nice frescoes inside. From there
take a horse cart riding for 15 minutes to
Shwesandaw Pagoda and enjoy sunset over
terraces. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Bagan
Mount Popa (B)
Optional morning program: We offer a unique
opportunity to see the ancient city of Bagan as
it has never been seen before. With ‘BALLOONS
OVER BAGAN’ you get a magnificent birds-eye view
of thousand year-old pagodas, temples and the
mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. The champagne flights
at sunrise last just under an hour and take off
daily from October through March. The balloon is
guided by gentle winds not exceeding 24 km/h.
Eight/Six passengers plus a pilot fit into the
balloon’s basket. The price is USD 250.00 per
person. Due to the limited capacity, advance
bookings at an early stage are highly
recommended. (Check in on board: 0430 hour and
45 minute flying)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to
Mt. Popa
where a house for Myanmar spirits. On the way
you can observe toddy farm and ways of making
Toddy Candy. Overnight at Popa Mountain Resort,
the oasis in the dry zone.
Day 05: Mt. Popa
Bagan (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Take a horse riding for one
hour around the sandal wood forest where you can
observe the natures of the deer, rabbit, birds
and butterfly and herbal plant. And visit the
museum of the Mt. Popa. Return to the hotel and
check out. Drive back to Bagan.
Evening enjoy
sunset while taking a boat trip along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Bagan
Mandalay
Sagaing
Amarapura
Mandalay (B)
Early breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the
airport for the domestic flight to Tada U
Airport (± 1 hour 20 minute flying). Arrive Tada
U Airport and direct excursion by coach to the
ancient city of Amarapura. Visit Mahagandayon
monastery, and famous Buddhist learning center.
It is home to a thousand monks, who will form a
procession as they go to take their noon and
final meal of the day. Apart from Pagodas that
have survived, the ancient art of silk and
cotton weaving, using handlooms, is very much
alive and In the afternoon drive over Ava Bridge
to Sagaing, 21 km southwest of Mandalay and
visit the Sagaing Hills, a retreat for Buddhist
devotees with numerous Pagodas, monasteries and
nunneries. Visit the village of Sagaing, at the
foot of Sagaing Hill with markets, shops and
restaurants; one of the monasteries on the
hillside; the Tilawkaguru cave temple, with
mural paintings; Umin Thounzeh caves, containing
45 Buddha images and Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda
built in 1312. The view of Sagaing from here is
outstanding. And return to Amarapura to enjoy
sunset from U Bein wooden bridge, over 150 years
old, walking along the bridge and relaxing your
stress. Then drive to Mandalay for check in to
the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Mandalay
Pyin Oo Lwin (B)
After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to
hills from Mandalay for a visit of Pyin Oo Lwin
(Maymyo), a former British Hill Station. The
road winds steeply through flower, fruit and
vegetable gardens. Arrive at Pyin Oo Lwin. Then
visit the National Kandawgyi Gardens, flowerbeds
are similar to those you would find in an
English country garden! The garden is recently
renovated and the name has changed to "Kandawgyi
National Botanical Garden". Drive through Maymyo
on a horse drawn "pony coach", giving you the
chance to admire the brick and timber houses,
complete with English style gables, turrets and
chimneys. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Pyin Oo Lwin
Mandalay (B, L)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Pwegauk Water Fall: a
very pleasant picnic spot and have a
picnic
lunch. Return to the hotel and check out. Drive
back to Mandalay. Visit Atumahsi Monastery and
Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery),
Kuthodaw (Maha Lawkamarazein Pagoda) which is
famous as the world largest book of many stone
slabs on which is inscribed the whole Buddhist
Literature. Then take M-38 Jeep which is used in
WWII up to the Mandalay Hill
and enjoy the
panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill.

Day 09: Mandalay
Heho
Inle (B)
Morning flight to Heho in Shan State. Upon
arrival drive to Nyaung Shwe (~ 2 ½ hours)
drive, a small town at the northern end of Inle
Lake. From here transfer to the hotel for
check-in. Full day excursion on Inle Lake (25
km) famous for its unique one-leg rowers,
typical floating gardens, local methods of
fishing and village life and the Phaung Daw Oo
Pagoda housing five sacred and almost shapeless
Buddha images, contorted because of the quantity
of applied gold leaf, gifts from the believers.
The Buddha images are purported to have come
here in the 12th Century. Visit Ywa-Ma village,
gold and sliver smiths’ workshop, Jumping Cat
Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Inle
Indein
Inle (B)
Early morning after breakfast, visit Indein
Village, located at the western side of the
lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a
stair path lined up with many hundreds o wooden
columns, you finally will reach the impressive
Shwe Indein Pagoda Complex. From the hillside
you have great view over the lake area. On the
way back to the boat, walk through a romantic
bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may
observe local people having a bath.
Leisure with
Myanmar Wine at the hotel balcony. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 11: Inle Heho
Thandwe
Ngapali (B)
After breakfast transfer to Heho airport for the
flight to Thandwe. Upon arrival transfer to the
hotel. The lush tropical coconut palm trees and
ground adjacent to the beach create a peaceful,
luxurious and exotic atmosphere.
Romantic dinner
at the pool side of the hotel. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 12 & Day 13: Ngapali (B)
Enjoy your stay at Ngapali Beach. Backed by
swaying palms and casuarinas the Ngapali area is
a good place to relax. The beach reaches 3
kilometers. You also can visit the near by
fishing villages, where you can find the
fishermen begin setting and drawing drift nets
before dawn and continue into the late morning,
when they load their catches in baskets. Women
carry the baskets of fish on foot, then return
with lunch for the men. Overnight at Amata
Resort & Spa.
Day 14: Ngapali
Thandwe
Yangon (B)
Transfer to Thandwe airport for your flight back
to Yangon. Transfer to the hotel for check in.
In the afternoon the sprawling Bogyoke Market.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 15: Yangon Departure
(B)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Yangon
International Airport for your departure flight
to conclude this unique experience.
