The Mergui Archipelago and the remote Burmese Banks are today
the "must" for every serious sea lover. More than 800 islands are scattered on
3600 km2, waiting for exploration. Just imagine: underwater, untouched reefs, no
boat engine to tear your ears apart, no curtains of bubbles to obstruct your
vision; at the surface, deserted beaches, fishing villages, amazing rock
formations… Do not miss this unique opportunity to explore truly non-crowded
sites.
Transportation between each destination by domestic flight on
Air Mandalay or Yangon Airways or Air Bagan (F-100 or ATR-72/42) can be done.
From October to April is recommended.
Live aboard on a brand new wooden boat. Designed for a
maximum of 12 guests, providing all the comfort divers need. All accommodation
onboard is air-conditioned and located on the main deck, offering great sea
views.
Detailed Tour Program
Day 01: Arrival Yangon
Arrive at Yangon international airport, welcomed by tour
guide. Transfer to the hotel for check in. After that start City tour in Yangon,
includes Sule Pagoda in the heart of the city, City Hall - one of colonial
building , Chauktatgyi Pagoda, one of the biggest colossal reclining Buddha
images in Myanmar. Special evening visit to the massive Shwedagon Pagoda –
famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the ‘ Heart of Myanmar Buddhists. The
Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by
dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many
Myanmar People praying and making offerings. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon
Kawthaung
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for flight
to Kawthaung by Myanma Airways. (Optional: from Yangon to Meik city by Myanma
Airways or Air Bagan. Then you can fly to Kawthaung, once a week, or take an
express boat, daily, which take about 6 hours, or daily flight from Yangon to
Kawthaung, Victoria Point). Upon arrival Kawthaung, transfer to hotel and check
in. Overnight stay at hotel, Kawthaung.
Day 03: Kawthaung
115 Island or Similar
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Myoma Jetty for
embarking cruise trip to 115 Island or similar island nearby. After 3 hours
nautical driving, arrive at 115 island. Take a rest and enjoy the un spoilt
beauty of the island. Have the sea food lunch after crew and the cook prepare
for the tents and food for the lunch. Free at leisure to explore the beauties of
virgin island. Exiting activities are like sea kayaking around the island,
snorkeling, fishing, jungle trekking, swimming and sun bathing on the beach.
After barbeque dinner enjoy the Fire Ball. Overnight on the island.
Day 04: 115 Island
Makyone Galet Village
Lampi Island
 After
having the breakfast which prepared by the crew and chef, continue to Makyone
Galet Salone (sea gypsy) Village. After lunch onboard nearby the village, walk
and observe around the village environs chat with the Salone (Moken) people.
Tours continue to the eastern side of the Lampi Island for anchoring. Enjoy
around one of the island's 3 rivers to observe mangroves forest by kayaks
without seeing other human beings. Evening opts for the sublime peace of
deserted white sand beach of Lampi Island, the only protected forest and the
island of Mergui Archipelago. Dinner and overnight onboard or on the beach.
Day 05: Lampi
Salet Galet
After breakfast onboard, snorkeling around the beach. Tours
continue to Salet Galet, a small space between the main Lampi Island. Dinner and
overnight onboard.
Day 06: Salet Galet
Kyun Phila (great swinton) Island
After breakfast onboard, snorkeling nearby. Tours continue to
Kyun Phila also known as Great Swinton Island, one of the most beautiful islands
in Mergui Archipelago. After lunch, enjoy the activities at your own interest
such as swimming, sun bathing, snorkeling on the corals, sea kayaking and sport
fishing. Enjoy the farewell seafood barbeque dinner and overnight onboard.
Day 07: Great Swinton Island
Kawthaung
After breakfast onboard, enjoy the last day of Great Swinton
beach. Depart back to Kawthaung in the late morning. After lunch onboard, cheers
up for your successful exploration trip to Mergui Archipelago by opening a
complementary Champagne on approach to Kawthaung Jetty. Upon arrival at
Kawthaung in the early evening, disembark and transfer to hotel and overnight.
Day 08: Kawthaung
Yangon (or) Ranaung
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for flight
departure to Yangon. (Optional: depart from Kawthaung to Ranaung by crossing the
border). If there is enough to visit in Yangon, we will proceed to you Kabar Aye
(the World Peace pagoda) and Maha Pasana (the great cave for Buddhist synod) and
check in at the hotel. After lunch shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott’s Market)
of hundreds of shops where you can find local products such as Gems & Jewelry ,
slippers, cloth, and so on. Evening stroll along the China Town and study the
ways of living of Yangon citizens (which can observe the tradition and modern
costume). Overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
Day 09: Departure Yangon

Breakfast at hotel. Leisure till the flight time. Transfer to
Yangon International Airport for your departure flight to conclude this unique
experience.
