You can observe northern part of our beautiful country with this tour. Starting from Yangon – the garden city and the main gate way to northern part of Myanmar to Putao – which is due North of Myitkyina in Kachin State and not far from the Hkakabo Razi, the highest mountain in Myanmar. It is located 420 meters above the sea level and surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

The trekking is a little bit hard and has to overnight in the village simple accommodation. Traditional village food will be provided during the trekking. Trekking boot and warm clothes are highly recommended.

The program is depended on the flight schedule and recommended from October to May.

Detailed Tour Program

Day 01: Arrival Yangon

Arrive Yangon international airport, welcome by tour guide. Transfer to the hotel for check in. After that start City tour in Yangon, includes Sule Pagoda in the heart of the city, Chauktatgyi Pagoda, one of the biggest colossal reclining Buddha image in Myanmar. Special evening visit to the massive Shwedagon Pagoda – famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the ‘ Heart ’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day-2 Yangon Putao (By Flight)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the airport and leave for Putao by air. Arrive at Putao Airport, transfer to Khakabo Inn. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing in Putao. Dinner and overnight stay at Khakabo Inn in Putao.

Day-3 Putao Sanggong

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, proceed to upper Sanggong from Putao by car. Lunch on the wayAfter lunch trekking to Wasang Dam. Dinner and overnight stay at Wasang Dam. ( 23 mile )

Day-4 Wasang Dam-Ziya Village

In the early morning, breakfast Wasang Dam and then trekking and hiking to Ziya village. Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Ziya village ( 12-mile )

Day-5 Ziya-Chaung Sone Village

After breakfast, proceed to Chaung Sone by trekking and hiking ( 10-mile ). Lunch on the way. In the evening, arrive at Chaung Sone. Dinner and overnight stay at Chaung Sone Village.

Day-6 Chaung Sone-Kautaukmyit

Breakfast at Chaung Sone. After breakfast, proceed to Kautaukmyit camp by trekking and hiking (7-mile). Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Kautaukmyit camp.

Day-7 Kautaukmyit-Base Camp

Breakfast at Kautaukmyit. After breakfast, proceed to the base camp (8-miles). Lunch on the way. After trekking and hiking about 8 miles, stay for one night at the base camp.

Day-8 Base Camp and environs

Breakfast at the base camp. After breakfast, stroll around the base camp. Lunch at the base camp. After breakfast , trekking to the surroundings of the base camp. Dinner and overnight stay at base camp.

Day-9 Base Camp-Chaung Sone

In the early morning, breakfast at the base camp. After breakfast, come back to Chaung Sone by trekking and hiking ( 15-miles ) . Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Chaung Sone.

Day-10 Chaung Sone-Khalang

Breakfast at Chaung Sone. And then proceed to Khalang by trekking and hiking (14-miles ). Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Kalang.

Day-11 Khalang-Wanglai Dam

Breakfast at Khalang. After breakfast, proceed to Wanglai Dam by trekking ( 8-mile ).Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Wanglai Dam.

Day-12 Wanglai- Upper Sangong Putao

After breakfast, trekking to upper Sangong. Lunch on the way. After trekking from Wanglai Dam to Upper Sangong, drive to Putao by our tour car.(22-miles).Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Putao.

Day-13 Putao Machanbaw

Breakfast at hotel. after breakfast, visit Machanbaw, stone dragon, Guber Guests House, local market. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Mulashidi suspension bridge.

Day-14 Putao Yangon

In the early morning , breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, stroll in Putao and visit local morning market. And then check-out from hotel and transfer to Putao Airport. Leave for Yangon. In the evening, arrive at Yangon. Overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.

Day-15 Yangon Departure

After breakfast at hotel transfer to airport for your departure to conclude this unique experience.
