This program is presented to you for your visit around
Myanmar for its main tourist destinations. Explore from Yangon – the garden city
and the main gate way to Myanmar to Kyaing Tong – the most scenic town in the
Shan State where you can find several Shan tribes, Inle – the tranquil lake of
the leg rowers, Mandalay – the culture canter and its environs, Sagaing – the
Place of Meditation and Mingun - home of the world biggest ringing bell, Bagan –
the richest archeological sights in Asia, Kyaikhtiyo – the golden rock balanced
on the cliff, Mawlamyine - an important trading town on the south and also a
capital of Mon State and Thanbyuzayat – famous for its Death Railway by the
thousands of Allied POW. You will find the local peoples and landscape beyond
your imagination.
The majority of overland in Myanmar is bumpy and not so good.
However, our skillful drivers and experienced guides will take you along the way
safely and we may stop in several places for shooting the photos or knowing the
local people.
Transportation between each destination by domestic flight on
Air Mandalay or Yangon Airways or Air Bagan (F-100 or ATR-72/42) can be done
throughout the year. Trekking boots are recommended. Recommended from October to
May.
Detailed Tour Program
Day 01: Arrival Yangon
Arrive Yangon international airport, welcome by tour guide.
Transfer to the hotel for check in. Visit Chauk Htatt Kyi (the six storied in
meaning but actually the huge reclining Buddha Image, Sule (the eight sided
stupa located at the center of Yangon, the Independent Monument. And study the
ways of living of Yangon citizens (which can observe the tradition and modern
costume) and Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the ‘
Heart ’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and
the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and
statues. There are always many Myanmar People praying and making offerings at
Shwedagon, and it’s a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by.
And overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon Kyaing Tong (B)
In the early morning, breakfast at hotel and transfer to
airport to leave for Kyaing Tong by air. Arrive at Kyaing Tong airport, transfer
and check in hotel. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, visit Ahaka Village to see
some national tribes. In the evening, come back to Kyaing Tong. Overnight stay
at hotel.
 Day
03: Kyaing Tong (B)
In the early morning, breakfast at hotel. After breakfast,
visit Pin Tauk Village and then hiking to see Akha tribes. The villages are
situated about 600ft above sea-level. Lunch on the way with lunch box. After
lunch, come back to Kyaing Tong. In the evening, arrive at Kyaing Tong and
transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Kyaing Tong (B)
After breakfast, visit Kyaing Tong Morning Market and see
many minority people shopping at the morning market. And then proceed to Loi-Mwe,
hill top palace with peaceful surroundings (sea-level 5542 ft) and old British
colonial governor's house and old church. Lunch on the way. After lunch, proceed
to Ho Latt Akha small village, Naung Cho Wa village and Pang-Y Lahu village.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Kyaing Tong Inle (B)
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, transfer to airport for
domestic flight to Heho. Arrive at Heho airport and transfer to Inle Lake. And
then, drive to hotel by boat to INLE Lake. Check in hotel. Lunch at restaurant.
After lunch, visit Intain village and sightseeing in the lake by boat. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 06: Inle (B)
In the early morning, breakfast at hotel and visit Phaungdaw
Oo Pagoda, the most famous pagoda of the Shan State. Ywa-Ma village, gold and
sliver smiths’ workshop. After lunch, visit Jumping Cat Monastery and floating
gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and the famous leg rowers. In
the evening, enjoy the sunset while visiting the Inle Lake by boat. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 07: Inle Pindaya Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, depart to Inle by our
tour car. On the way, visit Pindaya Cave with thousands of Buddha images placed
there by pilgrims over many centuries. Lunch on the way. Proceed to Mandalay
.Arrive at Mandalay. Transfer and check-in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Mandalay (B)
 After
early breakfast at the hotel, visit Mahamuni Buddha Image, Zegyo Market and some
of Mandalay’s cottage industries, such as weaving and tapestry making, Burmese
candy making, Bamboo fan making near Eindaw Yar Pagoda, Atumahsi Monastery and
Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw (Maha Lawkamarazein
Pagoda) which is famous as the world largest book of many stone slabs on which
is inscribed the whole Buddhist Literature.. Enjoy the panoramic view of the
city from Mandalay Hill. Overnight stay at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 09: Mandalay Bagan
Early morning departure by boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River to
Bagan. This downriver trip about 8 hours. Lunch is served on board. On arrival,
transfer to hotel. And then Bupaya Pagoda to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy
River. Overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.
Day 10: Bagan
Early morning breakfast at hotel. After breakfast visit,
Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupa, Kyansittha U Min, a
tunnel with an interesting features of paintings.Lunch at restaurant. After
lunch visit Soemingyi Okkyaung, Nagayone Temple, Apeyadana Temple and Wetkyiin
Gubaukkyi Temple with fine mural paintings of Jataka scenes. In the evening,
visit enjoy sunset from Mingalarzedi. Overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.
Day 11: Bagan Yangon
In the early morning, breakfast at hotel. Proceed to
AnandaTemple, architectural master piece; Thatbyinnu Temple, the tallest in
Bagan and Tharaba Gate. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, visit Dhamayangyi
Temple, the biggest massive temple with the finest brick work. In the evening,
transfer to Nyanung U airport and to leave for Yangon. Arrive at Yangon and
transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Yangon Bago Kyaikhtiyo
After early breakfast at the hotel, full day seat in coach excursion to an
ancient capital of Mon Kingdom, Bago (the Hansawaddy Dynasty). On the way,
observe the World War Two Cemetery at Htaukkyant. Proceed to Kyaikpun the four
sided huge Buddha images. Continue to Shwemawdaw, Shwethalyaung (a huge
reclining Buddha image). After lunch at local restaurant. Tour proceeds to
Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock. Upon arrival at base camp by truck, transfer to the
hotel on the mountain summit. Overnight stay at Kyaikhtiyo.
Day 13: Kyaikhtiyo Pha An
After breakfast at the hotel, tour proceed to Pha An, the
capital city of Kayin State. There, you could observe minority ethnic group of
Myanmar and their ways of living such as Sakaw Kayin and Poe Kayin. Moreover
Geba, Gekho and Bwe are living in their unique culture, belief and customary.
The State mark - Zwegabin Mountain slab is offering a picturesque view.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Pha An Mawlamying
In the pleasant morning, shopping and study at the Pha An
market. Tour continues a capital city to another. That is Mawlamyaing, the
capital city of Mon State. Sightseeing would proceed to Kyaikthanlan Pagoda,
Uzzena Pagoda, Kawguan and Payon Caves where Mons' religious places. Overnight
stay at the hotel located on the bank of Thanlwin River (one of the longest
river of Myanmar).
Day 15: Mawlamying Thanphyuzayat Mawlamying
After early breakfast at the hotel, tour starts to
Thanphyuzayat which is 34 kilometers far away from Mawlamying. There is an
Allined War Memorial Cemetry for POW (prisoners of the war) who lost their lives
in the famous Death Railway. Drive back to Mawlamyaing and overnight.
Day 16: Mawlamying Yangon
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Yangon for 97
miles. On the way, there will be many photo stops upon your needs. The green
paddy field, farm works and there might be seen the buffalo boys. Overnight stay
in Yangon.
Day 17: Yangon (Departure)
After breakfast at the hotel, shopping to Bogyoke Market
(formerly known as Scott Market). Transfer to Yangon International Airport for
onward departure flight to conclude your exclusive travel experience.
